New Generation Desktop Cell Sorter, JSAN (Japan made sort analyzer), has been developed and commercialized by Bay bioscience Co., Ltd. based on the entrusted research theme , "Micro-cell Information Detection System of NEDO (New Energy and Industrial Development Organization supervised by the Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry) on 1995.

Recently, remarkable research progress in the life science has been made and necessity for the quick announcement of accurate result is needed. To meet this need, sorting the objective cells with high purity and good recovery rate are essential. But conventionally, mastery for the instrument adjustment and sophisticated operation are needed to obtain the result. Many hours and also energy have been exhausted.

To solve such problems, the instrument that researchers can operate easily and obtain the result with high performance has been dispensable and desired for a long period. Desktop Cell Sorter, JSAN, is the cell sorter to satisfy such requirements.

Researchers can sort the objective cells with the feeling of operating the conventional analyzer. The various options are prepared. If UV laser is mounted, analysis and sorting of SP (Side population) cells can be performed. When CloneMate* is installed, single cell sorting can be performed.

Equipment with the function directly to sort the necessary number of cells into each well on the microplate. (option)
